Great British Piers. An excellent piers-related website, which is one man's ongoing project to create a single source for everything pier related. One to watch.

Best of British Magazine. Monthly magazine about Britain past and present, which regularly carries material about fairgrounds, fairground transport, steam museums, etc. Highly recommended.

eDreams UK Theme Parks Page. Regular feature articles and links about amusement parks in the UK. Ask theme park expert Nicholas James a question about anything relating to UK theme parks and receive a quick answer!

Amusement Park Photographic Library. A huge resource of images of British amusement parks and the rides which operate within them. Primarily aimed at the world's media, photographs from the Library are also available to buy.

Save Dreamland Campaign. A website dedicated to the campaign to save Dreamland Fun Park, Margate, which is home to Britain's oldest roller coaster, the Scenic Railway.

Skelter Publishing. Website of the specialist amusement park and fairground publisher.

Aerial Glide, Shipley Glen. Information about the battle to save Britain's oldest amusement park ride, the Aerial Glide at Shipley Glen Pleasure Grounds.

Amusement Review. Run by an amusement park enthusiast, this site includes excellent photography from around the UK.

Frontierland Remembered. A website dedicated to Morecambe's lost amusement park, Frontierland (formerly Morecambe Pleasure Park).

John Burke's Blackpool. Another fantastic Blackpool Pleasure Beach website, with photographs of the park taken over several decades by a local Blackpool photoghrapher.

CoasterBuzz. News and community for the amusement industry and enthusiasts. Also features, forums, extensive links and much more on this popular site.

Talk Rideas. Popular forum for discussing anything and everything about the UK's theme parks.

ThrillNetwork.com. Well established website with news, rumours and articles on amusement parks, theme parks and water parks. Also has a popular forum.

Ultimate Rollercoaster. News and information about roller coasters from this American site. Most noteable for its excellent forums.

National Piers Society. Many of Britain's piers feature excellent amusement parks. This website provides a whole host of information about Britain's piers, past and present.

UK Seaside Piers. The largest collection of UK pier photographs on the Internet, this website also includes excellent vintage amusement park and slot machine photographs.

John Wardley. The man behind many of the UK's best new rides, including Nemesis and Oblivion at Alton Towers, has his own website.

Laff in the Dark. Fantastic website about dark rides and fun houses in the USA.

The Magic Eye. New website about dark rides, fun houses and walk through attractions, plus a focus on rides that are now disappearing from the World's amusement parks.

Roller Coaster Database. A comprehensive, searchable database with information and statistics on over 1200 roller coasters throughout the world.

Coaster Kingdom. Well written ride reviews supported by information, synopses and photographs.

National Amusement Park Historical Association. American educational and enthusiasts organisation dedicated to amusement park history. The site includes extensive factual information. 

About Theme Parks. Part of About.com, this is an excellent theme park survival guide, with good links pages.

Belle Vue Revisited. Affectionate tribute to one of Britain's greatest amusement parks, Manchester's Belle Vue. If you have enjoyed reading our Belle Vue books or watching the videos, you will love this website!

White City, Manchester. The history of Manchester's second amusement park, White City.

Days Out UK. This site includes discount tickets to many UK theme parks.

One Click. Well-designed website, packed full of stunning roller coaster and amusement park photography. Recommended.

Alton Towers Almanac. Very comprehensive website about Alton Towers, with news, photographs, history, general information and a discussion board.

Butlins Memories. Celebrating the memories, history and fun of Butlin's holiday camps, including a guide to all parks (open and closed).

ATE. ATE is a world-leading exhibition and publishing company in the coin operated and electronic amusements, gaming, casino and leisure industries, and organisers of the Amusement Trades Exhibition.

ITEC. Based in Orlando, this company designs theme park rides and "fun places" worldwide and is made up of former Disney imagineers.

Coaster Enthusiasts of Canada. An amazingly comprehensive website, with information on Canadian amusement parks and rides, books, and a huge links resource. The Closed Canadian Parks section makes fascinating reading.

Dean Organ Builders. Specialists in the manufacture and restoration of fairground organs and other mechanical musical instruments. 

Daffy Klub. The official website of the Darkride and Funhouse Enthusiasts.

Great British Exhibitions. Website celebrating British exhibitions at venues such as Crystal Palace, Earl's Court and White City.

Roller Coaster Mayhem. Help Andrew Edwards research roller coaster books. This site includes a full list of UK roller coasters.

Disneyland Resort Paris. The web's largest fan based website covering the Disneyland Resort Paris. The website is a guidebook to the theme parks and their attractions, the hotels, the Disney Village, the restaurants ... and everything else at the Disneyland Resort Paris.

Lawrie's Carnival and Amusement Park Pages. If you want to find out about the amusement parks and travelling fairs (carnivals) of Finland, this amazingly comprehensive website will tell you everything you need to know.

Coasterimage.com. For US roller coaster and amusement park photographs, videos, Roller Coaster Tycoon files, wallpaper and other downloads.

Richard's Wheel. The story of how one man's dream became a reality. Richard Ryan restored Southsea's famous Corbiere Big Wheel and reopened it in Blackpool. The website tells the full story along with details of where to ride it.

Deborah Budney. The website of leading American carousel artist. Her carousel art is available from Joyland Books.

Janice Bailey's Photography. Includes a collection of pages of carousel horses, carousels, pastels and digital carousel art.

Tunnel of Laffs. Dark ride and fun house tribute website run by I-Ride, the International Dark Ride and Fun House Organization.

TP:UK. An independent guide to Alton Towers, Thorpe Park, Chessington World of Adventures and Drayton Manor. The site features park guides, ride guides, information and news pages for each park.
