Favorite Cities of Britain Online

Many places in Britain are my favorites. I always have to visit each when near. But I have selected three as representative. Web space allows only three so here goes.

London

Now the reason it is selected is because it has so much for a tourist to do, it is sensational. The full range of my interests can be satisfied in that town. I like sights. It has hundreds. I like history, Ditto, I am a stamp collector and just love to look over the rarities in the National Stamp Museum. I like books and where are there more that the National Library of England. Flea markets are great fun as a living museum. So that interest is satisfied. Yep. London ranks high as a tourist destination for me.

Edinburgh

Edinburgh is another favorite. The language difference between London and there is pronounced and welcomed. The portrait gallery, castle, strip, and monuments are fantastic. Bookstores are plentiful and trees are everywhere.
