Postcards About France

Postcard collecting is something I have done since about 1960. They were always reasonably priced. So I started buying postcards for the places I visited. I still have many of the first cards I purchased. They bring back memories quickly.

But postcard collecting means saving certain categories which are of interest to a collector. Not just places a person has visited. France happens to be one of the categories I like perhaps because I lived in Paris for the year 1965.

Currently I collect a variety of categories. Let me share some of them with you:

Austria, France, Italy, Germany, Great Britain, Switzerland. Sweden, fireplaces, colonial workshops, colonial interiors, Dutch Kids, Christmas, New Year, Thanksgiving, Valentine, Been There, and many many more. None are extremely valuable. But all are of interest to me.

A category I like is Eiffel Tower postcards. HERE are some samples of Eiffel Tower cards in my collection.
